Hello everyone, I have a 2012 focus SEL Sedan. I'm having air conditioning issues with it and not sure where to start. The issue is when I have the A/C on and set to low the compressor never kicks on and it blows out warm air. So far all I've done is verify the refrigerant is full (in the "green" on a refill bottle), checked the a/c clutch fuse under hood (#47 I believe) and removed the a/c clutch relay and attempted to jump pin 87 and 30 with a paper clip to trick it into coming on. I plan on verifying the compressor is actually plugged up tomorrow when it's not raining.

Is there anything else I should check/test before buying a compressor?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Josh

UPDATE..... My wife drove the car today, and for some unknown reason to me, the compressor clutch actually engaged and began blowing cold air. My question is..... What would cause the clutch to engage randomly like that? I'm leaning towards either the low pressure switch or the high pressure switch. Any thoughts by anyone else is appreciated.
