well this all started a few weeks ago when i changed my drivers seat due to being a large driver... ya i broke the seat

anyway, so i as able to get my hands on a seat out of a 2001 zx3, i have a 2003 zx3. the electrical connection on the seat where the same so with the help of a cordless impact in a few mins the seats where changed.

now the air bag light is on and the seat belt light is on.

i plugged in with a snap on scan tool and found that one of the wires where shorted to ground and the other was shorted to power.

this leads me to think that the wiring could be different on the model years?

has anyone had this problem, and dose anyone have the wiring diagrams for both a 2001 and 2003 zx3 driver seat

I've never heard of this problem but it sounds like you may be spot on with your diagnosis. Did you check and see if any fuses are blown?

no i have not checked my fuses,

well i am going to go check them now,

i would hope that it was just that small of an over sight.
