I know that tach's not being in the dash is somewhat common for Foci, and I have read about it before. I also seem to remember that in order to install one, you need a driver or something to make it work. I'm looking at getting a little tach for my car to put into the dash, a small little SunPro one, not a big 4 foot one mounted on the hood or anything.

yes, you need tach driver, I recommend getting Ford Racing one as it is the easiest to install.

It is around $60, various online stores as well as Ford Dealerships have it. eBay is a good place to look for one.

yes this is the one. It is overpriced. You can get it cheaper at dealership. I got mine for like $65 from dealer shipped. Try calling your local dealership and asking if they have one, if they don't ask to check which dealerships have it, get the number and order there.
Last time I checked, I saw one going for $40 on eBay.

I think it's the same stuff. If it was for different year or anything like that part number would change.
