adjusting stock shifter question

I remember reading we can do adjustment on the shifter linkage to make the stock shifter has a shorter thorw!! but i cannot find the how to!!

I do want to know if there is any how-to... because i am planning to chop the stick and adjust the linkage to get a cheap STS...

I already have my reverse lockout delete!![pray]

no, they are completely different. but u can find some on the net, like steeda, for the 01s
