Im putting a asunder and amp in today wondering if anyone know where I can pull the 12v turn on wire for the amp from on the 2008 I have an output converter and I know wiring very well but don't wanna spend an hour finding a. Remote wire to tie into. If anyone has a 2008 no factory sub with sync wire diagram would be great as well

That is awesome. I believe you are the first to post the wire colors for our year. Thanks! Now I can double check all the polarities when I wired in my LOC.

But, on the subject of the remote wire... I believe because it uses a digital signal you can't use it as the amp remote wire. I haven't tried it, but I know a lot of members have mentioned in previous posts that you cannot use it. I , just like a lot of other members, wired in a switch and used a mini add-a-fuse.

My only question is what spot on the under side drivers side fuse panel did u add the add-a-fuse to? dont you just plug it into an existing fuse?

It's a MINI add a fuse, make sure to get the mini. It should come with a few fuses. I don't believe it requires much amperage.

Yeah, I had to fiddle with my amp controls to sort out what sound I liked the best. I used a LOC and the OEM headunit.

I would prefer to install a head unit, and replace all factory speakers (with amp), and mount two more speakers in the trunk/back seat compartment (with amp)... sooner, or later.

I installed some aftermarket eclipse speakers my friend gave me....they have pretty good highs, but totaly lost te bass that even the stock speakers provided...today i finaly installed a kenwood 800w amp with an MTX 12in sub that helped that out....LOC or not, sounds pretty good!
