I am going to be installing an LED lightbar right behind my grill. Having a switch somewhere on the dash can make it hard to switch off quickly if another car is coming.

I wanted to try and put a button that is attached to the steering wheel so I can reach the switch with my thumb while driving. Has anyone ever done this or know how this can be done?

Thanks in advance!

You could use a relay to trigger power to the light bar only when the high beams are on. A manual bypass switch (like a dpdt type) would allow you to run it separate of the high beams of desired. Relays are cheap...
