not sure if this is the right forum BUT, I'm trying to get some rough numbers on about how much added weight am I seeing from 2 main things:

1. going from stock wheels to your typical 17's
2. some kind of "average" weight that a 4-piece body kit (regular fiberglass) would add

I got this dyno app on my iphone so I was just trying to get a rough figure on the weight of my car since a more accurate weight will give you a more accurate dyno. I know stock its like 2,564 lbs with "all fluids" according to cars.com specs (not sure if that includes full tank of gas).

TIA if anyone can shed light on any of this I'd super appreciate it !!!![thumb]

my wheels are 44ish pound with tires on them. i think thats a little heavy but it works. thats on 17's

as for you car weight being 2,564 i think not. i have weight reduction and no power options and mine is 2,680 without me in the car.

go find a scale at a junk yard and weigh you car it will cost like 5-10 bucks.

^maybe i think not tho, if you had fat tires on your car it'd say you car weigh 5,000+

it seems wrong. but try it and let us know.

realy fat tires would change the pressure and it would remain a correct approximation

Open your door and look on the side where it mentions tire pressure and what not. it has the weight...

were you in the car? You can always do little weight reduction things to help out. like not having any washer fluid always running close to half a tank of gas taking out the spare tire/jack and rear carpets.
