So here is my car. Its a 2008 Focus SES Coupe, automatic, 154k miles. Below is what I am working on/have to do. Hoping to get a bunch done this weekend, but need to start somewhere. No performance upgrades, just cosmetics to make it look more unique.

Interior Lighting - switching out to green LED's.. why green? I dont know. Something different.
Dash - plasti-dip black or gunmetal - needs to warm up

Front End:
5k HID bulbs - might get them in this weekend, weather permitting
Switch Back Parking/Turn signals - this weekend, weather permitting
Windshield Banner - need assistance as my arms aren't long enough to attempt solo and get straight lol
Black Grill - weather permitting (will be attempting to carbon fiber wrap the chrome one to see how it turns out. if it doesn't work, oh well)
New Emblems - will be done this weekend with or without good weather lol
Smoke/Black out - some eyelids on the headlights - to be done when i decide how i want it to look.

Rear End:
LED Taillight Bulbs - weather permitting
LED reverse bulbs - weather permitting
Couple back stickers
De-Badge - weather permitting
Smoke part of the taillights (black out the chrome edging, light tint on the brake, untouch the reverse section) Will do when i do head lights.

Sides: Carbon Fiber wrap the chrome parts behind the front fenders. Not sure how to do it yet (remove them that is) and will probably wait until warmer, unless i can find an easy to remove and re-attach solution.

Wheels:
Plasti-dip them gunmetal - hoping this weekend.. please be dry friday night into saturday!!

Happy I am not doing any performance work. My last car was too much and i don't want that again, and as some of you know, i plan to move out of the country later this year, so all this stuff above is to make the car unique, and some things for my nephew who will get it when I am gone.

Here she is stock:

Wheels have been wires brushed, entire car washed. Supposed to rain a lil soon then dry out. Should be able to paint rims this afternoon and tomorrow. Green LEDs put in inside. Might do the grill swap next.

Dont mind the oil spots.. that was the VW lol..

Thanks. I am liking it.

Hoping to use my parents garage next weekend for the bulbs/grill swap. My brother has been sick and he is the one who has helped in the past to make sure i dont mess anything up. Just a lil back story, i have had 12 head traumas in my life, all before the age of 21. I am not very good with tools, never ask me to use a saw, ive hammered my hands tooo many times, ive found ways to stab myself accidently with a screwdriver, been electricuted a few times.. yah.. i like having people around when i do stuff to make sure i dont mess up or hurt myself..

Anyways, things are moving forward and i am happy with my car. Looking forward to the long drive next weekend, and hope to get everything finished up.

I also wanted to jusst say thank you to the community here. Everyone has been nice and helpful. You all are awesome!

PS.. anyone selling used set of lowering springs near me and willing to help install.. i am game!

Well, the weather is supposed to be DECENT this weekend, I will add the FORD badge back to the front of the car, and might have a tinker with the headlights, turn signals and foggers if i can get down to them easy enough (Not removing the tires and wheel wells as I live in an apt with very limited space.) I would also like to add a few window treatments.. lol.. and fix my trunk (the piece that goes over the tire slides around and doesn't latch anywhere. I noticed two areas against the back of the car where it looks like i could have two bolts/screws go through the board and hold it in place.)

IF it is as decent as i hear, i might tackle the last part of chrome on the car too...

Plate bulbs in back replaced, ford back on the grill, new switchback blinkers and 5k hid bulbs. Am having some issues with the HID bulbs, they dont always come on. Will need to tinker with them.

Looking good! Not a fan of HID's in reflector housings...but to each there own. I would avoid dipping the exhaust tip, go ahead and get some high temp paint, that will work just fine.

Thanks for the advice on the exhaust tip. I will work on it soon. Having a depression day and dont want to move. I wanted to play with the bulb to see if i could figure out the issues on why it comes on sometimes n not others, but i barely feel like i want to do anything atm.. probably be a long movie day :/
