I have 2000 zx3 my AC just quit working a week ago.

I have checked:
Fuses
Blower resistor

Don't know much about ac have looked at other videos and research but nothing really helpful to what exactly is going on w. My exact problem.

Anyone have any input?

Before it went out it was blowing slow on 1-2-3-4 and I shut it off turn it back on and 1 -2 quit working. So I turn it off again and nothing I went to 3-4 and they work even slower. So I shut it off and back on and dead. But my button for ac to run thru the panel turns on OK but ac blow nothing..

Wiring issue or the motor by resistor ?

Any one any input before I continue ripping my mk1 apart looking blindly.

I'm voting blower motor on this one.

Slower & slower, starts not working at lower speeds then finally won't work at all points to a motor that's not spinning freely. Needs more & more power to move.

A/C light still coming on is an indicator the resistor pack is still OK & the fan motor just isn't turning despite getting power/ground.

Not TOO hard to pull & check.

Sounds good, i agree. Whoops, did not mean to push bad resistor, just the old thread.

When speeds fail 1,2,3 the resistor is the best bet.

I'm guessing based primarily on it going slower & slower.

Like Old threads, saves typing fingers.
