This morning when I was running errands everything was working fine.

I get in my car this afternoon and turn the AC on 1 and no air comes out, but the AC light is on. The same goes for 2 and 3. Turn on 4, air comes out, but not really cold, but there is no light on the AC button.

Any idea what could be the issue?

for 1234 are you talking fan speed? you may need a cabin fan resistor. I don;t know why your a/c would shut off though.

Yes fan speed ...nothing at all comes out when its on 1, 2, or 3, but air comes out on 4, but not really cold air.

I've seen a fan resistor do that on the boards. Replace the fan resistor and you should get AC back. It might just be the sensation- air doesn't seem as cold when it's blowing fast. If you can hear the compressor kicking on and off, or feel it in the engine- then it's working.
