So I just purchased my new 2014 Focus SE a few weeks ago and yesterday the AC just completely cut off while driving. The lights still show on the selector indicators that it is on, but I cannot get any air out of the vents, no matter if it is 1-4, hot or cold, or any vent settings.

I wouldn't have a problem taking this to Ford under warranty issue seeing as it is only about 2-3 weeks old of a car, however I did recently perform a SelectShift conversion on the car. Does this play a role with the warranty for the AC?

Thanks.

Why are you here? Id be at the dealership complaining.
Also it sounds like the blower is out or stuck.

I was trying to avoid the dealer and being without my car. Opened the dash up and noticed the connector was loose, plugged it all the way back in and it's back to working. Not sure how it loosened up but easy fix at least.

Thanks for the advice and help guys.

No problem. Sometimes you just need affirmation. As for how it came lose, could have half assed installed or rattled loose. Either way some tape wouldn't hurt.
