Hi all:

I've recently bought a brand new instrument cluster with a tach. The old one had not a tach just the speedo, temp and gas gauges

So far so good, installation was simple but two issues are driving me crazy:

The lights of the abs and the air bag remain TURNED ON, the issue is that my Focus DOESNT HAVE NOR AIR BAG NOR ABS either .

Is my understanding that there is some way to "teach" the car that there are not abs nor airbags and to turn off those lights.

Someone out there could tell me how fix the problem ?

you would have to call a dealership and ask them if it is a PROGRAMMABLE PERIMETER which means they can access your vehicle with their computer and command those kind of lights off. If so stop by and im sure they will do it for free.
