Ok let me start of by stating that I am well aware that with money ANYTHING is possible..... well almost everything is.......lol. Basicly I was hoping if anyone could shed some light as to how I could turn my Fwd Focus into a 4wd beast. Dont' get me wrong I like it the way it is..... buts its just that I'd rather it be 4wd to begin with. Well what I was getting at was that I'd like to know if its possible to do it without putting myself in debt up to my eyeballs..... any light on this subject will be greatly appreciated... such as location of dealers, cost, parts.... etc.

You can do a search on this, there's been a few threads in the not too distant past. But basically for the money involved you'd be farther ahead just going out and buying an AWD car.
I don't know if anyone has done this, other than some of the off-road track teams, but the first requirement is a bundle of dough... I think the track teams spent something like 60K on it...
There's also the RWD V8 conversion you might want to search on, or leave it FWD and ask Jeremy (V6Foucus on this list) at FocusSalvage about the V6 conversion.

You could always get the drivetrain form a Cosworth Escort and graft it in.

The closest anybody's gotten so far (minus the WRC team) has been the dude using the zetec Escape awd tranny and Jag IRS I think it was? Maybe I can dig up that thread...

EDIT: Shazam. Linky

Hmm wow yeah thanks guys, this is helping me out so much. I gotta get ready to go to work but yeah I'll look back at the old treads to see what I can find as soon as I can. Any idea as to how much it can cost. My guess is that 60k is the whole thing including turbo, headers, and what have you.......
