Thought this would be a sort of interesting idea for a poll, so here it goes.
Under what you consider to be 'normal' acceleration, where does your ATX decide it wants to shift? For the sake of simplicity, lets go with from either first to second, or second to third...as a poll from third to fourth would (I think) have very close results, as long as no one was going for a top end run.....

I suppose since I started the poll, I should respond to it....mine is usually around four grand, this is more highway driving (55 mph) than around town where it is 25 mph....

And I thought I mine was shifting high (or was that me making it shift high......) at 4000, turns out that seems to be pretty average.

^^^Confused....6800 in first meaning from first to second? That would mean that your car is shifting at 6500 going from second to third and at 6400 going into fourth....arent'y you really hauling ass by then?

yea, from 1st to second 6800, (about 38-40 mph)from second to 3rd (about 70-72 mph) 6500 fom 3rd to 4th (98-100 mph) ths is is with the overdrive on
If I have the o/d off it won't shift into 4th of corse [:)]
in which case my 3rd gear tacks out at 7100 rpm (about 100 mph)
now before any body decides to flame me, these are from not-so recent memory,
It's been a long time since i've taken my car over 90 MPH.....[paranoid]
(I need tire replacement before I do)
And my car sucks because my limiter kicks in at 106 MPH with the chip.... [:(!]

shit you gov kicks in soon I have a 2000 zx3 (no chip) and it kicks in a 110. I don't know what chip you have now but you would probably be happier with the sct (even though it's alittle pricey it's well worth it. My buddy that has one dosen't max out until over 130. I'm not really sure what that dose to an atx though

Normal around town is about 2,500 or so for each shift. Highway of course gets firmer at around 3,500 to 4,000 (Though I have had it take until 5,500 to shift a couple of times... poor thing was screaming by then [xx(] )

2500 in granny mode in the city. 3000 during "normal" (as in keeping up with everyone else when they accelerate) driving in the city.
