I know this will be asked so I will go ahead and address it. I do not autocross or anything currently however may in the future. My car is a daily driver that I would like to be able to push hard on backroads in the twisties from time to time. For the past year it has handled horribly needs new balljoints, strut endlinks have been replaced so I want to upgrade everything else basically.

so far I have picked up the svt springs and struts. Today I found a ST in a junkyard and I will soon have all 4 spindles, front rotors calipers hubs, and 2 rear calipers and 1 rotor. (car was hit on drivers rear)

So my questions are:

If I bought SVT sized rear disc would a stock 15" wheel clear the caliper?
I understand they wont with the svt 300mm front but I am unsure on the size for the rears. if they will fit on the rear I might go ahead and upgrade to the svt, since I am short a rotor anyway.

How does the CV axle come apart fron the hub? Is it supposed to pull off easily I had to break the CV joint and take half of it with the spindle:(

All help is greatly appreciated and I am all ears on any advice for the brakes and suspension.[ffrocks]

ok after some searching ive found that i was right about the rears but the front ST spindles wont work. Apparently the rear spindle will work since all rear arms were the same from 00-06.

I double checked the front spindles against my svt strut and it is loose in the strut mount so apparently the st was an 06 but from what I've read the balljoint wouldnt have worked either.

I guess there is a reason the svt conversion kits are the price they are lol
