Let me start by saying I have an AEM cold air intake and an HKS full exhaust. I thought that added a bigger throttle body would make sense. After I installed the throttle body and started my car, it ran like CRAP. It still does actually, but I'm in the army and in Iraq so I didn't get a chance to get it fixed. My car burns through fuel a TON faster and it smells like it's running really rich. It act's like it want's to stall out, but it doesn't stall. I'm not really sure what would cause my car to run like this. Seems like a throttle body wouldn't make it so complicated. need some help here. thanks.

^ Reset the ECU
* Check to make sure the TPS sensor is in the right location.
* Take the intake off and see how the throttle plate is positioned at idle/WOT - if it's not angled perfect, use the throttle screw to make sure its at the right angle to prevent the car from reading it wrong. This fixed if for my 70mm FC tb.

I think that you will need to have it programmed to accept the changes that you have made to it. Even on my SVT with only the AEM cold air intake and stock exh, my fuel trims are on the edge of setting a check engine light. An aftermarket tune could solve my issue and possibly yours. Check your maf reading at idle (should be .8 - .9v), tp ( .8 - 1.0v), and iac (32-38%)- these are stock readings unmodified.

You dont need a retune for adding a TB, a simple ECU reset will be fine.

Did you Port the Manifold as well.. Or just slap it on?

That wont have anything to do with it running bad.. But if you havent then there really isnt a point to a 70mm TB..
