Hey all,

70mm Pro M Maf calibrated for 42lb injectors.

Now can this MAF be put on my N/A SVT or not? I don't run 42lb injectors

I know its designed for a FI setup (I assume) but wouldn't it still work?

Isn't its job just to allow a larger intake pipe to be used? I mean in't it just calibrated to give proportional meter readings for a larger intake tube?

Would it give any gains as well, as I am sure that someone out there has one on there N/A focus SVT.

Thanks

Why? I can't see any possible gains from this.

Yeah I realize that there may not be any real gain (no more than 5hp), I guess it depends on weather or not the stock MAF flows well?

I mean the SVT is already tuned for 170 crank hp and I am now putting out 190+.

I know the benefits would be slight.

I know of zetec engines running twin TBs on custom intakes making 220 whp. One would imagine that more air could be better????

Someone must have tried this.

You will most likely see a loss in power, since it calibrated to see MORE fuel for a given flow and you'll be introducing LESS fuel.
