does anybody know if the 70 mm throtle body for a mustang will fit the focus racing intake.I dont know why but the mustang tb is half the price of the focus throttle body

The Focus 70mm is a modified Mustang TB, the linkage is different, the TPS has a harness to fit the Focus, and there is a vacum nipple plumbed into the TB for the IAC.

Don't buy the D462 you still need to get an spacer made.
There's an good reason for this

If you bought the D462 to save some money that IS NOT the Focus FR TB , altho it is the same TB by design it does not have all the machine work done to it as the ZX3R so there is NO Vac port for the IAC and you dont get the TPS adaptor or the bracket for the throttle cable

focus central used to make a 70mm but there was no idle air holes...

So did you buy the right TB?
The performance shop that's working on my focus right now isn't happy with me, had to use my old bracket and mod it some what to make it fit.

I didn't buy an alternator bracket to go with the FR manifold so when I bolt it up I coludn't see any problem but, I was wrong...lol
What they had to do was shave 5mm out of the 1st inlet arm thats next to the alternator.
Before I gave them the go ahead I ask about high boost and won't be any problem.
3" air intake going on.
The fitting cost is fine so I'm still saving...lol

I should have fofo back tomorrow and 110 to 115whp with the mods on but, see what happens.
i'll post it in the show room.
