6061 FORGED WHEELS
Model A5LW 17 Inch Rim

Specifications:

Size: 17" x 7.0"
Weight: 13.5 lbs
Design: Five split spoke design

Price:
$239.00 / Rim
$956.00 / Set of 4 Rims

Someone here got these? BEST PRICES for LIGHT WEIGHT FORGED WHEELS.

It reduce the rotating mass of the wheel compared to a stock 22lbs or 25lbs SVT wheel. All you need with these wheels is a light weight tire and you could see some gain.

UNFORTUNATELY the shop for these wheels is closed since 2004. I'm mad. They are very good quality wheels, they are good looking , light and FORGED.
If someone here got them and sell them! TELL ME!

there are other light wheels out there.
OZ's are pretty light, as are rotas, centerlines and my favourite Team Dynamics.
iirc team dynamic pro race 1wheels weigh like 15lbs for 17"

forged are pretty nice though, light and strong

Just a quick corection:
Wheel Weights:
SVT Focus:
2002-2003 - 5 Spoke 21lbs
2004 - 6 Spoke 20.5lbs
Euro - 15 Spoke 20.3lbs
At any rate, those are a nice wheel and do shed some pounds, though I don't see the bolt pattern listed.

thenorm has some good sugestions on available wheels, though I question the Pro Race 1 weight.
According to their website they start at 17.6lbs and go up from there depending upon offset:

^^^Click on Pro Race 1

If you must have forged wheels, Centerline makes a few different ones that fit our car. (all around 15lbs)

^^^Search by vehicle. Or, here's a couple:

As WD40 wrote, Centerline wheels, all forged, and made in the USA.

I searched high and wide to be sure that when I went to 17's and 215/45 tires, I wouldn't increase my weight from the stock 15's and 195/60 tires. I weighed the tires and wheels with air, the stockers were 35 lbs, and the 17's were 36!! That was the closest I could get.

Centerline does not advertise a wheel weight for most of their wheels, but when you open the box- you'll feel the difference. It's that obvious. If you want the lightest wheel, then look for the one that's a simple design- 5 star etc.

Expensive to very expensive. Sorry not the direct answer you wanted..... you won't find these at cheap prices, you pay a far amount more for a light weight quality wheel. The Storms are around 200 for 15's and 250+ for 17's at Jeg's but I didn't bother checking what fitmants they had.

When I went to move my rims after UPS came I almost threw the first box up into the air because I was expecting a heavy ass rim. [rofl] It's really surprising how light high quality rims are.
