Which one to go with? Figured I ask here, as the Chev boards say LS & the Dodge boards say Hemi.

I can't hate on a 6.0 chevy. Hemi pos is all it is, a pos. Unless you like to pull the heads every 60-80k to fix a bad valve seat, dropped guide or lifter. Not to mention 16 spark plugs every 30k.

Most of the guys at work drive trucks I don't but I'll say the hemi engines have been more reliable for the guys I work with.
They don't have the 6.1 though.

Yea most of the LS motors are super reliable.....As far as the hemi, like you mentioned^^^thats possible on the 5.7's, but haven't heard any negatives about the 6.1's thou....
