Car: Black 04 SVT
Broken: Rod knock, P1518, Dogbone, wheel bearing, baked paint, clouded headlights.

It's an original paint/metal 1 owner SVT, so it's worth bringing back. The question is where is the money best spent? A fresh coat of black and running with no CEL is the ultimate goal. The rest will be spent on mods.

Intake, exhaust, and high compression + tune?

engine for sure. You don't know when it could go out on you. then the rest for fixing anything else MECHANICALLY wrong with it.

Yeah do your engine first, then the dogbone then the wheel bearings so you have a well running car!

There's no way all that crap will amount to 3k. My friends shop should take good care of the car. Their shop car is a turbo widebody S2K, and a twin turbo NSX widebody. Both with flawless paint. I trust this dude.

He didn't get back to me with an exact figure which has me worried, but what ever happens it'll get figured out.

Is there an upgrade sequence for the SVT that you can link me to?
