I posted this on caraudioforum.com but no one wants to answer. Will a 3" deep set of midbass speakers fit in the front doors of the Focus? How much spacing would be needed? I am trying to get an idea so I don't have to buy another set of speakers. The fit in the contour but I don't know about the Focus doors.

OK, thanks Guerro, don't know why I did'nt think of that before. I must be slpping.

For those of you with Sedans, Front speakers depth of 2.7" with .903 top clearance or almost three and a half inches with the MDF baffle. Rear, depth 2.56" with .65" top clearance, or a little over three inches with MDF baffle.

ussualy 1/2 or 3/4 inch of mdf will do the trick, and by the way, caraudioforum has been down all day basically, i don't know what's up with it. it was out from about 1-7 for most members. it was working about 20 mins ago but now it's not working for me again.
