I just got the 25% pully and now my check engine light is on. I dont kno what it could be. I think my O2 sensor has finaly gone. Anybody have a clue?

man you have to restart your computer, just unplug the negative terminal or 15 misn and plug it back on, i had to same problem once.

that is what i was thinking too. I will do it later cause i got a TB on the way.

Yep it did. The guys on FJ dont kno crap. They told me that there was something wrong with the teeth on it. What teeth.

i wouldnt go so far as to say that the FJ guys dont know crap. pretty much everything i learned about the SPI i learned from them.

its just a differnt forum. with a differnt feel to it. some people like it, some people dont.

but becareful of bad mouthing it, becaues there are a few FJers who are well respected members of the FF SPI community.

not trying to be a jacka$$, just trying to give you a heads up.

They thought i was throwing a code of some sort, but i guess they didnt understand what i was asking.

If your check engine light is on, you ARE throwing a code, so if you stated you had a CEL, I can see where their confusion lies.

Putting on the UDP would not throw a code however. even if the battery wasn't unplugged unless you damaged the crank position sensor when putting on the pulley. I don't know if this is possible or where this sensor is located though, it's just a guess based on the available information. An O2 sensor would throw a code too. If you know it is suspect. Your best bet is to find out what the code is.

ok ima jack this thread for a minute to ask what is better 25 or 50 percent pully, i think i may get one, and escortfocus.com has both for 100 bucks, and says 50precnt can give ya 10-12 hp and the 25 gives and 6-8? but i dont want my altenator to not charge right, which is better?

oh and slimshady your TB is waiting for you, when u get it all installed tell me how u like it, cuz i couldnt get it to work right, porlly need a new gasket

I guess it depends on you goals. I got the 50%, the alternator charged fine but I don't have any other power draws (like a bumpin' system yo) For me there wasn't any decision to be made.

Plus I raised the idle to 800 rpm with the Xcal2. I did that to reduce vibrations but it also kept the alternator charging and the lights from dimming at idle.

i got the 25% and reset the ECU, and you can notice a pull.

Klondike, just picked it up and Thursday is install day. I see that you add a little extra something in there too, thxs im gona need it.
What could you not get right, the TPS?

i think the sohrt ram intake i got with it had an air leak, that cub that goes over tb musta been leaking or it was the shitty corkboard i got from wallys didnt hold up, semmed like most of it just peeled right off, you got auto or stick slim? and how is your park and nuetral rpms?
