I looking to add a set of cams to my 23 motor. I am looking at Crowers stage 1/ Cosworths road cams= stage 1 & OBX's stage 1 set. On my 23, I have a Focusport header/2.5 exhaust/tune/BSD & windage tray/ UDP's/ Steeda's SRI. Does anyone have any idea about these cams? I'm looking for some more power. Thanx all for your input! [lockdance] I have CFM's tublaur control arms/ dogbone & a torsen to get the power to the deck, so that help's.

Looking at there spec's= OBX [email protected] .050/ .380" & cosworth's= 255/ .374'' lift. Cosworth's seem a little vague in their spec's. Crower's is [email protected]/.374 lift [email protected]/.363 lift w/ a 114 degree lobe center, which makes it idle better. I don't know how these run, any one know, or idea's?

Cam choice's!

Rumor has it that Crower gives more power in a Zetec, while Crane and Cosworth are better in a Duratec
Wow, that's interesting!^^^^ Think it has something to do w/ the cossie being a single pattern cam & crower is a spilt pattern cam favoring the intake side. I'm not use to 2 cam 4cylinder motor's. I now 'bout V/8's w/ 16 pushrod's & how thou head's flow. I don't know what the crane spec's are.
