I am in the process of removing the engine and transmission from my Salvaged 2017 RS.

The wiring harness makes a wye after the fuse box, There's an ECU hanging in the front drivers corner off one Wye, and the other goes to the engine and the harness spiders all over it. The harness runs high and low on the back and the front of the engine, I thought it was a tedious time-consuming job, and I was a little surprised it was laid out this way.

So... if you do this, I hope you are quicker at carefully peeling the harness off. because you need do it before you can pull the engine.

As I did this, I reflected on the 20 minutes it took to pull a VW bug engine and have it on a work stand!
