2016 Focus SE LED Headlights

Should I expect a bulb error when installing LED headlights on my 2016 focus SE? I know other members were having problems on pre 2015 cars for sure, couldn't find a straight answer on here and was wondering if I would need top buy a Can Bus decoder right away.

Royal Purple, Red Line, Amsoil or Wal-mart special? I'd like to smooth the shifts a little, and help it to last for a long time. I autocrossed this car for it's first two years, and it performed well. But it is retired to just being a daily driver, with 50K miles. So, any suggestions?

How many miles on your mk3?
