do we know if the optional all-season tires are available with the optional wheels/painted calipers?
Given it's not listed as an excluded combination and the all season rubber is now optional on all three trims of ST it is likely available with the optional alternate 18" wheels and the red calipers.

external keypad

I would suspect it's hidden behind the B-Pillar window moulding...like on my 2013 Fusion. Actually a nice feature when you WANT to lock your keys and stuff inside the car.

Not likely, given that the body shell is unchanged from the 2012 Focus and the 2012+ Focus with the optional / dealer installed securicode keypad is basically a remote key fob which does not work on any car with intelligent access, so idk what that line is supposed to mean.

Although the invisible one allegedly does, just not the cheap aftermarket looking o.e.m. stick on one.

that's how it is on my 2014 Escape as well...i would be shocked if they stuck that ugly analog keypad on the door

I don't follow. Why couldn't they have designed a B pillar applique to fit the Focus with the capacitive buttons like they have on the Escape?

Just because the body is the same doesn't mean they didn't re-engineer the trim piece and wiring harness.

Primarily because this is Ford we're talking about. Theoretically they could have done so, but that would mean spending money on it and they can't or won't even spend money to make the Lincoln's unique enough.

Until we see what it entails all I see when I hear securicode key pad on the Focus is the stick on third remote which does not work at all with i.a. and defeats the purpose with having the key in your pocket at all time anyway.

The keypad with the capacitive buttons is clearly visible in the closeup picture of the B-pillar in this gallery:

'clearly' visible.. I had to look for a LONG TIME trusting that you were right. Finally yes.. I can just make out the slightly visible keypad numbers buried IN the black door pillar. What with the reflected photographer stuff acting as camo.

I wonder if it will be able to be retrofitted to earlier models?

What are the specific options, if any,in order to get the painted calipers and I heard that they were to be available either red or yellow, is that true

You would have to order the optional 18" wheels which are packaged with the painted calipers. On the 14 these are a free standing option at $375 or so. That means it's available on every ST trim. I wouldn't expect that to change in 15. I've heard nothing about yellow calipers only red ones.

Frankly if you wanted yellow calipers I'd skip the red ones and paint the stock ones.
