Hi, My 2014 Ford Focus SE with the Dual Clutch Transmission just threw a P0715 code. After doing a brief test drive the transmission is shifting at higher RPMs than usual and is shifting rougher.

After researching the code it seems it is for the input shaft sensor. I purchased a new one, replaced it, and cleared the codes on the engine. I took it on another test drive and the problem still remains.

Does anyone have some feedback on where I should look next for the issue? The vehicle is still covered by the clutch and TCM extended warranty, could the TCM be causing this issue?

Update: Just realized it has 2 different input shaft speed sensors and that I only replaced the lower one. The upper one is also pretty inexpensive and easy to change out so I think I'll try replacing this first.

Took it to the Ford dealer to get it diagnosed. Turns out the connector on the first sensor had a broken wire that I overlooked. I even tested the 2nd connector but just never checked the first one...
