Yep, all U.S. and Canada ones. Sounds like it falls within, and the notice doesn't mention limited numbers within the dates, just wondered about the ends if it was close.

Odd not to find it listed for yours, def. means you need it checked officially.
I made an appointment today--no more October spots, so I had to book early November. Their computer system was down, so they weren't able to check on the exact recalls with my VIN, but hopefully it pops up (one way or the other). I don't want to have to make a second appointment and wait over a month for them to check the car.

Thanks! So question: My local dealers are already booked till the end of this month for service appointments. Once people start receiving the letters for either service job, they're going to start flocking to the dealerships. How can I set it up so that whenever my appointment time is (hopefully end of this month and not pushed back to November), that I get both items done to my car even though I have not yet received notification (including the site your linked) of the fuel pump recall?
No problem! sailor's right, your dealer's in the best position to ask. Also, since you asked, I checked out your build date, and it is in fact August, 4. ETIS uses European style for dates: day, month, year.

Settled, excellent!

Same backwards or Euro/Military dating on door stickers and ETIS had you wondering.

Meagan comes through with the double check

Pardon my pessimism, but it might be better to have them worked on separately in order to keep things simple with the dealer. If you were to have problems with both jobs it's easier to deal with one at a time. It is a pain having to go for two separate appointments but that's how I'd do it. (If you have problems getting a ride to or from the dealer send me a PM and I might be able to help with that.)

Hmm, that's a good point, actually. Better to diagnose individually than "Hey, you guys did 3 things to my car and 1 of them screwed it up."

Lol, thanks for the offer, although I wouldn't want to subject you to 680 traffic. I had to wade through TWO hours of traffic when I bought the car since I had to go during the afternoon and there just happened to be a crash somewhere up the road. It's definitely not that bad normally, though.

My car stalled last week. The engine then would not start.

I scanned for codes and got the P0087 low fuel pressure code.

I reset the code and the engine would run for a few minutes and then stall again. Without erasing the codes the engine would not start.

Ford came to my house, but we're unable to fix suspecting the pump in the tank. The car was lifted to my dealer and it has been confirmed the in-tank pump is the culprit.

I'm wondering if there is any information on the range of part or batch numbers of Bosch pumps affected.

My car is a 2012 and in Thailand. I understand that this recall affected later vehicles from the Michigan plant, but I would be interested to see if a wider range of vehicles may have been affected.

I'll try to get a look at my old pump after it has been removed from the car.

This recall wasn’t just for 2014’s. I received a letter in the mail regarding my 2013 because based on its vin number it was included in a recall regarding purge valve, fuel tank, pump, etc. I just got the car back last week after having the repairs done. Everything seemed to be functioning fine until I filled it up. I started to smell unburned fuel, the car would nose dive in between shifts, and it enentually stalled out when I came up to a stop sign. It threw codes P0131 and P2196. Which are stuck 02 sensor and fuel related I believe. It’s been running fine since I got it under 3/4 of a tank. I notified the service department and will be potentially dropping it off tomorrow after I fill it up to see if the problem persist.

Had my car in due to canister purge valve failure, replaced under recall. Dealer notified me that my fuel pump needs to be replaced but is not eligibile under the recall because the dent in it was 1/4ths of an inch rather the the "necessary" 1/2 inch dent or complete failure. Anyone else be told the same? Do I just wait for it to fail or? This was back in october 2019. Not sure what to do.
