Just picked up a 2013 focus se with 11000 miles on it, 5 speed. Loved the car when I test drove it. All said and done paid $13500. Thought that was a decent price.

Not sure how I feel about the sync system, I don't have the my ford touch. I like it so far but getting used to it too.

Coming from a 2004 Malibu classic, this is a huge upgrade.

Now is there anything I need to really be careful of?

Thanks everyone.

sounds like a sweet deal to me, plus it has pretty low miles. i have almost 12,000 miles on my 2014. Since you have the manual transmision, there really isnt much to worry about.

5 speed.....

Less chance of transmission trouble since you got the manual 5 speed.

Less chance of problems since you didn't get the MFT.

Less likely to be stolen since thieves pick easy targets and few know how to drive stick.

You bought the best car in its class IMHO.

Not worried about it being stolen especially in Maine. This car surprised me how well it handled the crappy maine roads and frost heaves.

Does a cai increase mpg? Would like one but need to justify with the wife why I need one besides power increases.

Yes it does give the mpgs a little boost and pays for itself in the long run
