2012 Ford Focus SE - 145k miles- Having the dreaded popping out of gear at Highway speeds. Requires pull over, shut off ignition and then restart. It seems to be getting worse. I have done the ground issue with no effect. How to remove electrical connectors on TCU so i clean use electrical-clean and apply a liberal dose of dialectic grease. Anybody have some insight how removal is achieved?

It does have to be programmed to the vehicle to work.... Also has to be configured after programming so it knows the gear positions for both the shifter and the internal components. It also has to "learn" the clutch engagement points and "friction coefficient" (if you believe what the screen on the IDS claims).

I know the XCal can't configure the module, but is it possible to transfer the programming from the original TCM to the new (used) TCM using an XCal?
