Hi,

I'm new here and already could use some guidance. I bought a 2012 Focus for my son that needed a motor. Bought a good used long block and installed. Had trouble with the air conditioning belt so thinking I had the wrong belt, I let things go as it was cool still. When I got back to the belt, I noticed that while the a/c compressor had four ribs on the pulley, the crank pulley had only three. It didn't help matters that I tossed the original pulley thinking they were the same. Question is...looking at replacements, I see what looks like scads of different part numbers. How can I tell if I'm ordering to right one. I'm in Washington and the car is in California so I need to pack the right stuff when I make my trip. Also, it was my only time working on this car. How much pain do I have to go through to swap out the pulley? Can it be done without moving the motor?

Cheers
