Greetings from the UK, I am seeking some advice from you helpful people regarding my focus.

At 30k miles the old unit has been ripped out as it was real down on compression on no4 cylinder, so this has been replaced with a 2015 fiesta st unit with 9k miles which a local specialist has assured me is the same unit. After swapping inlet manifolds, vac pumps, other bits and bats the unit is in place and ready to go.

We have had her turning over but not firing, can't really hear any fuel pump running, but after maybe 6/7 attempts at turning over she now refuses to do anything and when you go for a start the dash goes blank and does nothing (planty life in the battery also). We had error codes relating to the coil packs as we left the st coils on there that came with the engine, swapped these back for the original ones from the car and these codes have disappeared.

This then led me to look at the cam sensors, there is a little variation between them so I swapped the original focus units back in, but now I have this no crank issue I am stumped.

Any help at all would be useful good people.

Cheers.

You have a MY2012 and swapped a MY2015 Fiesta ST engine in? How can they be so sure it's the same revision as the MY 2012 focus...

Did you cross-referenced the Fiesta ST PCM and your focus PCM to be sure it was the same also?
