sweet so if this is true, i can see them getting put into my spare and being forgotten about! i have the EAPs than will be getting painted this winter as i just bought a set of Altimaxes on steelies from tire rack and i didnt want to buy another set of sensors[headbang]
The sensors suck something serious. The sensors only notify you if your tire pressure drops below 25 psi at least. I just aired up my tires today and some were around 25 psi and no notification. I inflate my tires to max sidewall pressure (44 psi) for better fuel economy (it does work, I've tested it) and it doesnt give me a notification for that either. I was starting to doubt their functionality until I ran over a dry wall screw and the light came on. I probably would have been able to tell without them though, as obvious as the leak was.
