I have a 2010 Ford Focus SE, every so often turning the key all the way doesn’t engage the starter, everything else functions as expected (radio, lights, etc.) but turning the key to off and start again will usually start the engine just fine. As a side note the battery has never been changed as long as we have had it (2015) and it likely wasn’t replaced before that. Just out of curiosity I borrowed a friends OBD scanner and decided to see what it had to say about it and I got these readings. Should the cranking voltage be dropping that low? From the little information I’ve found online it doesn’t seem like it should, but I thought I’d go ahead and ask here. I don’t know a whole lot about all this stuff besides the basic knowledge and understanding I have and I want to learn more, any info or help you can give is very appreciated!
