My son got in the car this morning and it would not go into gear.
The clutch has virtually no resistance, brake fluid level is at full
and has not changed and there is no sign of fluid on the ground.
I could not get under the car to see if anything was wet but might
have it towed to our driveway.

I'm not even sure where the bleed nipple is or how to get to the
master and slave cylinders.

Any suggestions?
Pete

Clutch master cylinder does not have a bleed point but here are pictures from the service manual for the clutch master cylinder.

Maybe this video will help you find the bleed nipple honestly the video is not the best.

If you are lucky your clutch master cylinder blew up. Look for fluid inside the car by the clutch pedal. Unfortunately the slave cylinder requires removal of the transmission assembly.

I think that because there is no leakage or fluid drop that it is the Master but
I don't have time to work on it. Brought it to a good local shop and the guy says
it needs a clutch for about $1100. He's saying the no drop in level suggests that
it is something in the actual clutch but that makes no sense to me.
Anyone know of a top shop or Ford dealer to do the work in the Bridgeport CT
area?
