Hello, my first post on Focus Fanatics. This site is awesome. I have a second generation 2009 ford focus S 2.0 liter. When I am driving and I let off the gas the car seems to jerk some, doesn't seem to do this all the time. Any ideals? I'm thinking the fuel pump. I am current on all car maintenance. My focus has 275,000 miles on it.

No check engine light? 275k is awesome if it is still on the original pump.

Check the fuel rail pressure sensor. Pull the vacuum line and check for fuel. That being said a good scan tool night pick up an anomoly.
