I just bought a 2009 focus coupe 5spd has 77000 miles tha car was so cheap I just cudnt pass it up. with extremely loud valve train noise it had been sitting a over a yr do to been in probate court ive changed all tha fluids it runs out great tha only thing I can see mayb has been dun to it is a timing cover. looks like it has been off & put back if ne body else has one or mite no what tha problem is let me no ![wave]

Listen closely to hear where the noise comes from. "Tumble flaps" in the intake manifold by the head are often a source of loud ticking noises.

Low mileage for that OR valve clatter, haven't heard of one yet with seriously ticking valves.
