My 2008 SES has been manufatured on 04-FEB-2008. Transmission started shifting funny gears and I had the car at the dealership for the last four days. Today Ford replaced my automatic transmission valve body (warranty). Dealer refused to reimburse $96 for the four day car rental. Only after I said I'm gonna sue him at the Quebec small claims court they reimbursed me the $96.

Sucks but I'm glad you got your car fixed and reimbursed your money. I officially hate car dealerships and car salesmen.

yah they should mosdef cover the rental....its sad that you have to go to those measures for Ford to follow through on a deal.

I had my 2008 SES's valve body replaced at 8,000 miles. It had started not shifting into 3rd and 4th. My dealer covered a loaner car while it was in the shop. I had a Ford Edge and an SE Focus for loaners. The car has about 6,000 trouble free miles on the fix.
