I recently has some service and the battery was disconnected
when i pickup up the car and powered on the radio there a couple of seconds of sound and then nothing .
The display works buts no sound a strange thing when it is sitting over night radio works for a second or two then nothing

any ideas?

hard to prove i had struts and strut bearings replaced

disconnected battery wait a few min and reattached and now radio works

I was about to suggest doing that, my car has done that before where SYNC is slow and freezes. I don't know if you have SYNC or not, but I had to do the same thing to reset the system.
