Hello, I am new to this site and just bought my first fcus a few months back. It is basically a back and forth to work car so I can save some mileage on my Bimmer but I can't resist the mod bug and the first thing I want to do is remove those hideous fender chrome things. I have done a de-badge before but I dont know if these are just stuck on or if they have the little holes behind them. If anybody that has done this plase let me know.

yes, there are holes behind it. But you have options,

1. Paint the chrome to match your car color.
2. Buy new fenders w/o the chrome vent (08 s model and 09 coupes) and paint them.
3. Remove, fill the holes, and paint.

Do some searching on here and you'll find that some have painted the chrome and it looks very good.
