My 2007 ZX3 2.0 litre didn't come with a tach so I want to put in an aftermarket tach but don't have a clue as to where to wire up to the coil to get a signal any ideas?

Correct , I just looked for it in my Haynes Focus manual and on my Alldatadyi and it's all in the PCM (Power Train Control Module )
