2005 ZX4 front marker lamp

2005 ZX4 133K+

The front drivers side marker lamp was out. Several months ago the passenger side was out and I was able to reach down to the socket from the engine compartment to replace it. But on the drivers side I was not able to do that because there is alot things in the way. I ended up partially removing the drivers side front wheelwell spash shield and front lower engine splash shield and accessing the socket that way. Was/is there an easier way?

PITA, don't think there was an easier way though.

Snow pack is just nuts, feel for ya. Couple three here is bad enough & it's not the norm here either.
