acutally it is a sensor that the brake pedal pushes is to close to the pedal.
quick fix for you
go down by the pedals and look at the brake pedal. you will see a sensor infront of the pedal that looks like a box with a 2" long round plastic cyliner coming out of it. if you have cruise, you will have 2 of these.
push the break with your hand, and with your other hand pull the sensor all the way out. it will click a bunch of times. then let go of the brake pedal, and it will click the senor back into the proper place. that should do it.
