Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a diagram of the heater box for a 2005 Ford Focus ZX4.
I replaced the selector cable but it will not switch vents. I removed the radio and the vents covers in the dash but couldn't remove the duct to get my hands down to the blend door to see if it was sticking.

Try one of those extendable mirrors

Try moving it by hand with the selector cable removed from the left side where you attached the new one, might give you better feel or help see a problem there.

Some mentioned access through the fan area, larger hole for the hands (haven't tried it myself).
