My fiance has a 2003 Focus, and the ac/heater blower is out. When I turn it on, the fan blows for a few seconds and then stops. The air coming out in those few seconds is hot/cold, so I believe the problem is just the fan. Is this difficult to replace? Where is the thing located? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Resistor? Interesting. I'll have to get the VIN and get back to you. That will make the fan work for a few seconds and then stop or at half speed and stop? How hard is the resistor to change? I'll get the VIN and get back to you. Thanks.
