i have a nasty front bumper cover crack and ripped the rear SVT honeycomb plastic out this weekend - any suggestion on where to find a poly front, rear, side, and fender flair kit. Not wings west - looks a bit busy for me, but man, an RS kit would look killer......any ideas on where to get a new/used RS WideBody kit? Does not need to be OEM, i will just end up breaking it anyway :)

Very nice! Are you running standard Focus front brakes instead of the SVTF brakes? I know those 15" wheels don't clear the SVTF calipers.

I wish !!

I wish we had known that...NO, we have the SVT calipers, and had to spend 3 hours GRINDING...lol

I know right, not ideal, but we put an air grinder to the calipers and got them to fit with decent clearance. We ran them for 22 stages at full speed with ZERO issues. I got 12 of those rims for like $120 total before we were like..ummmm

When in doubt - GRIND

OH, i also ran 1 inch spacers and super long ARP Studs .....pic here

as far as the body kit, if you havent already checked out the extreme dimensions website I think they have some basic looking sets available.

15 stock rims and SVT Calipers

We ran the spacers all around.
we ran EBC yellows up front, and EBC reds in the back.

Let me share with the group - best brake setup i have ever felt - and i left foot brake, so my foot is on the brake for two days straight (with right foot firmly into the throttle for two days too :)

yep, 2.3L

Awesome pictures dude. So you have a duratec 2.3 in that svt?
Yes, we did a motor swap about a year ago, but had HUGE HUGE HUGE electrical issues. Final just built a custom wire harness and took all the main engine off the grid, and through the special harness, with only accessories running through the stock part of the harness. The engine would just CUT OUT at random times, now its cool. Found out the previous mechanic had spliced the main alternator wires using an aluminum block...not good. wire harness dash seen here....guy who built it builds them for NASCAR cars - so its gotta be legit :)
Love the 2.3 - but now thinking about DogBox and better gearing - 1st is short (mtx75)

Have you thought about using Team Dynamics Pro Rally wheels? I know they would clear the SVT calipers without grinding, and are SUPER STRONG. The guy who won PF at the SCCA Rallycross National Championships used those:

15x6.5" if I remember correctly.

Also, it's not easy finding RS parts, but it is doable. There is a large group of guys on Focaljet doing RS body conversions and they have the knowledge of where to find the body parts, or replica parts to do the fenders and quarter panels.

Those are sweeeet. I have 5 compomotives ($$$) that came with the car - the previous owner is my bro - and he has been running them on his Focus (he broke this weekend, but that car is a MONSTOR - boost and all). We are actually thinking about going to BRAIDS - super price point and bulletproof we hear.

You should all come up to Monticello next spring - Tarmac Rally and there will be 3-8 Focus's

actually check out this pic....

FORD - found on rallystages dominating

Was that pic taken at the Team O'Neil Rally school because I see a Euro Fiesta at the far right and I know they got a lot of the Fiesta Movement cars after the program ended.

And those Braid wheels are NICE! I don't want to imagine the price point however. lol

FORDS at Black River Stages

That is actually last month up at Black River Stages. There were like 9 total fords - and yes FIESTAS (and some Candian Foci)

Billy Petrow had the black fiesta - he built it.
The other one was a TeamOneil prepped car - used to be Veranai Weis - she is a drifter from LA that was getting into rally - and the head mechanic from Team O built and drove that car at black river.

So pumped i found all you guys - the FOCI presence at rallies is growing like wild fire, and it is not as expensive as you think - these cars can take a BEATING !!
