My mom just bought a ford focus and it has no heat.
The blower does not work and neither do the lights on the dash for the a/c . And help as to where to start would be greatly apreciated

for one, you're in the wrong section, if it's a 2002 you should be in the mk1 section.

it's been a while since I have messed with a mk1, well since my wife sold hers a few years back, however with no lights coming on on the a/c controller that leads me to think you have a blown fuse. the problem could also lie within the switch for the blower fan speed too. I had to replace the one on my wife's old car because the blower motor wouldn't run at all, it had no power going to the motor. though if I remember right you can physically put pressure on the knob and the harder you pressed on the knob the faster the fan would go.

No ST until '05-'07, then '12+.

Fuse, Fan, Fan resistor,switch - all possibilities.

More info. would help, such as whether it was a sudden failure or a bit at a time.
