My wifes 2002 Focus SPI heater switch will only work on the high setting.
Only information I could find talks about a blower motor switch module....which sounds right as the first 3 settings on the switch do not work, but the switch bypasses the faulty fuse in the module and runs direct on the high setting.
I called AutoZone and it will have to be special ordered, alas they do not have a picture of the item in question.
Am I on the right path with this?
If so,does anyone have the correct part number for the module?
Help appreciated!

Unsure which part I need?

Those resistor packs blow.....they get hot and a circuit burns like a fuse. When you switch to hi speed, the resistor is by-passed.

If you remove the thing, often you can see the burned part. It's the most likely thing that failed, causing that symptom. You can also check it with a VOM.
