My 2002 Focus blower switch freely moves through the numbers so I assume it is the switch. Does anyone know how to remove the faceplate to access the switch?

Moved to General Tech Chat.

Start with a set of radio removal tools to get that out (they aren't expensive) and after that things will become more obvious.

( did it once already with no instructions, radio removal gives access for the job)

You can use a bent coat hanger to get the radio out, but it will be messy. The specific tool is about $6-9 and well worth the cost.
Especially when you have to do it again to fix the burnt bulbs behind the switches.

Many Thanks for all the responses. I was able to complete the job in 20 min. db
